Veeam Linux Agent

Veeam Endpoint Backup was introduced by me on another post. Veeam Endpoint Backup is an application for Windows and now, Veeam has made an agent for Linux and you be able to take backup from Linux machines files.

This is beta version and I suggest that don’t install it for production purpose but you can test it on test environment.

Linux desktop distributions are popular today more than few years ago and many users use Linux on their laptops and desktops and their data needs to protection and backup.

Also VMware and Citrix added support for Linux desktop distributions as VDI operating systems, so you can have VDI benefits such as remote protocols on your Linux desktop and Veeam Endpoint Backup focus on this solution and it will cover Linux and Windows clients in future.
