[Review]: Amazing New Feature in vSphere HTML5 Web Client
What’s New Feature in vSphere HTML5 Web Client
vSphere HTML5 Web Client is a free tool that published on VMware Labs as Fling, this tool has been shipped as management client in vSphere 6.5 and above but it’s also available for vSphere 6.x .
The new version includes amazing feature that called Code Capture.
Code Capture helps you to capture your actions on GUI and record them as PowerCLI script. Then you can run script easily and make it as template for other scripts.
It’s too easy, GUI provide a button to capture your actions and convert it to script. It’s like recording your screen! You can take a copy from the script content or download it as a file.
Code Capture is next generation of Onyx and it’s only available in the vSphere HTML5 Web Client Fling.
It’s worth noting, at this point in time, all of the returned code is going to be in this manner. There are on-going investigations to add the translation from this code into high-level PowerCLI cmdlets.
But you can run the codes via Powershell.
You can download last version of the fling via : vSphere HTML5 Web Client Fling
