Nakivo Backup & Replication 7 – New Features
I heard some good news from Nakivo team about adding new features to Nakivo Backup & Replication 7.
There is some new features about Microsoft Windows Active Directory integration and also some features about backup management.
Join me to review the new features!
Active Directory Integration
Now, you can add users and groups from your active directory and define some roles such as administration roles for the users. So your active directory users and the users in a groups that added to your Nakivo be able to manage your backup environment.
There is no need to define new users in Nakivo administration web portal directly.
I think, that is good news for IT directors!
Activity Management is another cool feature that it added to new version. From now, you can manage your activities such as running jobs, file and object recovery sessions, repository maintenance, and so on.
You can restart, stop and view your activities from a single tab.
Bulk Backup Delete
This feature provides new way to filter your backup files and the backup files are too old or do not belong to any backup job or backups that are older than one year and delete them in a single click. This feature makes VM backups easier to manage and provides an easy way to free up space.
