HPE MSL (2024, 4048, 8096) has three different users for managing and monitoring tape library:
- User: This predefined username has no administrator privilege and actually it must used as user for monitoring tape library.
- Administrator: This username will be used for most administration tasks.
- Service: You can do anything by this user. This predefined user has predefined password and as I know, you can’t change it.
User and Administrator password can be changed via LCD Panel but Service user has predefined password.
